Midwest Curling Association (MCA) Arena Bonspiel

Dates: Saturday-Sunday, May 13-14

Cost: $35 / individual 

Arena Curling Clubs from the Midwest Curling Association are eligable to compete in this FUN bonspiel!  Join us for a fun filled 3 game guarentee weekend. 

This is considered a no frills bonspiel meaning there will be no complimentary food or beverages.  The $35 covers the ice cost of the weekend. 

During this event the MCA Arena National Playdowns will be taking place concurrenty.  If you want to compete in the playdowns to be eligible for Arena Nationals, do NOT fill out this form! Registration for the playdowns event can be found here.

Have thoughts or questions about when, what kind, and how long our leagues, learn to curls and other events will be for the next year? Well, now’s your time to share your ideas about what our schedule looks like—or just listen in on the planning process.

We will host a 2023-24 season planning meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, via Zoom.

The zoom link will be sent out within 24 hours of the event.  

Staffing a Table to market Cedar Rapids Curling during Cedar RapidsPride Fest. We will do three shifts. 

Please put in the comments if you will be able to help with the first or second shift: 11:30am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 4:00pm or 4:00pm - 6:00pm. 

Staffing a Table to market Cedar Rapids Curling during Cedar Rapids Farmer's Market. We will do two shifts. 

Please put in the comments if you will be able to help with the first or second shift: 7am - 9:30am, or 9:30am - 12pm. 

This registration is for Cedar Rapids Club members only. 

CedarSpiel 2023 is back on August 11-13! 

The weekend will feature: 

• 24 teams
• 3 game guarantee
• Open format
• First draws on Friday evening
• Meals and Drink Tickets included
• Prizes for all event championships

Cost is $100 per individual

Registration deadline is June 30, 2023.  Register today to reserve your spot!

Registration payment may be paid online with credit card or by check made payable to Cedar Rapids Curling and mailed to Cedar Rapids Curling (c/o ImOn Ice Arena) 1100 Rockford Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.  Checks must be recieved by July 21, 2023 to reserve your spot.
