Newsletter - March 2026

Hello,

We are halfway through teaching more than 500 people how to curl this season, and people are noticing how awesome our volunteers are. We've received multiple notes thanking us. Here is one:

"I think I speak for everybody there last night that we just really had a grand time. Talk about welcoming from the people that checked you in to the instructors to the whole camaraderie seemed to be a very congenial group. Mr. Wallraff’s instruction was so patient, encouraging and professional, a born teacher and coach. Viking North Dakota Dave who was at mid ice and the other lad captaining the opposite team also were most helpful, encouraging and welcoming. I plan to tell others of the great time I had. As I was leaving one of your curling club lass members, I thanked and she said ‘come back’. This is such a great group of people.
Mange tusen takk"

As we've said before, we know we are asking A LOT of our members this year. But it's so important to take advantage of the awareness of our sport around the Olympics. This is how we grow our club and make headway toward getting our very own facility and dedicated ice.

We promise we won't ask this much of you again for four more years!
